Vecarz.com (“Vecarz,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a not-for-profit, online 3-D classic-car museum that lets visitors explore high-fidelity models of legendary vehicles from any modern browser vecarz.com. We value your trust and are committed to handling your information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices and rights you have. By visiting or interacting with Vecarz.com (the “Service”), you agree to the practices described below.

2. Cookies & Similar Technologies
Essential cookies (set by Webflow)
• Purpose: page delivery, security, load balancing
• Lifespan: session-based or short fixed period
Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*)
• Purpose: measure traffic, improve site performance
• Lifespan: Google anonymises logs after 18 months; you can block Analytics with Google’s opt-out browser add-on
Third-party cookies (Sketchfab)
• Purpose: render and personalise the 3-D viewer

4. When We Share Data
Service providers
• Webflow Inc. – site hosting and content delivery
• Google LLC – analytics (IP address truncated; no cross-site ads)
• Sketchfab Inc. – 3-D content delivery (only when you load a model)
Authorities or other parties when required to obey the law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights, property and safety.
Corporate changes. If Vecarz transfers assets (e.g., through merger, acquisition or dissolution), personal information may transfer as part of that transaction and will remain subject to this Policy.
We do not sell or rent personal information.

5. International Data Transfers
Vecarz is hosted on Webflow infrastructure in the United States; Google Analytics and Sketchfab also process data in the U.S. and other countries. By using the Service, you consent to these cross-border transfers and understand that privacy laws abroad may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

6. Data Retention
• Inquiry e-mails: kept up to 24 months after the last correspondence, then deleted or anonymised
• Newsletter list: kept until you unsubscribe or we discontinue the list
• Google Analytics event logs: retained no longer than 18 months, then automatically anonymised
• Server logs: kept for security auditing for 12 months, then deleted

7. Your Rights
Depending on your location (e.g., EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA, Singapore PDPA), you may have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
• Delete data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Receive a machine-readable copy (“data portability”)

We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS encryption, strict server-level access controls and regular backups. No system is 100 % secure, so please protect your own devices and internet connection.

10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post the new version with a revised “Effective Date” at the top and, for material changes, provide prominent notice on the site or via e-mail (if we have your address). Continued use of the Service after a change becomes effective signifies acceptance of the revised Policy.
