Born from the quaint town of Malvern, hand-built by people who probably still use fountain pens and say “blasted” unironically, the Plus Six Assetto is Morgan’s answer to the question: “What happens if we stop being so polite and drop a BMW turbo-six into a carriage made of leather and stubbornness?”

Underneath its hand-formed aluminum skin lies the heart of a very modern beast: BMW’s B58 3.0L inline-six, producing 335 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. That’s the same engine you’ll find in the Z4 and the Toyota Supra, except here, it's bolted into something that weighs only 1,075 kg—about as much as a strong breeze and two sandwiches.

And yes, it goes like hell. 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, which is terrifying when you realize the car still looks like it might have been designed in a shed during the interwar period. There's no stability control here. No digital nanny. Just throttle, tire, and your sphincter's ability to clench hard enough to leave imprints in the leather.
